Skills for Care Core Networks

Surrey Skills Academy are pleased to work in partnership with Skills for Care across Surrey supporting the adult social care sector with all workforce matters and the development of a skilled competent workforce.

We manage the Workforce Development Fund (WDF) across Surrey, Sussex, Kent and London. The WDF is a funding stream from the Department of Health disbursed through Skills for Care and employer partnerships, our partnership is Surrey and Southeast, more information can be accessed by visiting the Workforce Development Fund page.

We also work in partnership to run the Registered Manager networks on behalf of Skills for Care; We run 5 networks across Surrey supporting groups of registered managers to meet with one another in their local areas and share topics that are important to them. More information on the networks can be found on the Registered Managers Networks page.

Skills for Care has a Surrey wide Core Network which is a group of employers who join the network and meet with the Locality Manager 3 times a year to look at Skills for Care activity across Surrey for the coming year.
